We are an international social enterprise and named our gatherings REFRESH YRSLF, meaning we believe that we can refresh each other by sharing, learning, networking and getting inspired from each other. WHAT?
Our REFRESH YRSLF fees will vary between 10 – 25 GBP. This fees are only used for fundraising and covering various basic expenses. We definitely believe in the universal law of “giving & receiving”, as gatherings / events serve for fundraising purposes for various charities like MIND (www.mind.org.uk) and GÜNEŞ UMUTTUR ( a Turkish initiative started by Billur Güven, supporting village pupils in Anatolia https://www.facebook.com/groups/1757970094433340/)

Thankfully, keynote speakers participate on a volunteer basis.

WHO?
REFRESH YRSLF; consists of 6 extravert Turkish women with various professional backgrounds such as design, acting, art, coaching and personal development. We enrich each other with trust, compassion, love, balance and support and are very exited about meeting new refreshing friends. Our refreshing journey started in April 2017 in London, UK.

İstanbul Comics and Art Festival. It is an outdoor festival with public area installations, comic illustration stands and exhibitions, workshops, seminars, speakers and art pieces from multiple art disciplines.

In the third year we turned Club Quartier into the heart of art and creativity. We made street artists and comic artists reachable to the public, every single person had a chance to join workshops and talks; many refreshed or discovered their inner artists.

We successfully held third edition of ICAF from 7 to 9 September 2018 with more than 20.000 participants and included 3 dimentional public areas into its content through “Urban Hacking”. Local artists took over Kadıköy streets and installed their 2-3 dimentional pieces. They had manipulated every day public use areas and materials and turned them into an art pieces.
